As part of strengthening the partnership between education and the labor market, and in line with the College of Dual Studies at Palestine Polytechnic University’s commitment to expanding its base of private-sector partners, a delegation from the College, headed by the Dean, visited a group of leading national companies in various fields. The aim was to enhance practical training opportunities for the College’s students and to reinforce sustainable professional cooperation.
The visits included the Central Exchange Company, owned by Mr. Shahir Abdeen, one of the distinguished companies in financial services and currency exchange. The company is considered a leading institution that keeps pace with the latest financial-technology systems and tools used in financial transactions, and is committed to promoting trust and transparency in its services.
The delegation also visited Suntech Renewable Energy, owned by Engineer Malik Janazra, one of Palestine’s distinguished companies in solar-energy systems and clean-energy solutions. The company contributes to promoting the culture of sustainable energy and provides innovative solutions for various sectors, supporting the transition toward a green economy.
The visits concluded with a visit to “Ishtari” Logistics, owned by Mr. Yazan Al-Bakri, a company specialized in providing integrated solutions in transport, delivery, and modern logistics services. It relies on digital technologies to facilitate online buying and selling operations and effectively and safely connect merchants with consumers.
During these visits, memorandums of understanding were signed between the College and the company representatives to open new horizons for students to receive practical training in real work environments and to promote the exchange of expertise between both sides, contributing to preparing graduates equipped with the skills required in local and international labor markets.
The College affirmed that these partnerships align with its strategic vision to strengthen the dual-education model, which combines academic knowledge with practical experience and helps build cadres capable of innovation and excellence in various fields.
