As part of strengthening Palestine Polytechnic University’s regional presence and highlighting the College of Dual Studies’ experience as a pioneering model in work-integrated education, and with the support of the German Cooperation Organization through the “More Job Opportunities” program, a university delegation led by the Vice President for Planning and Development, Engineer Ayman Sultan, along with the Dean of the College of Dual Studies, Dr. Mousa Arfaia, and an administrative team from the university and representatives of partner institutions, visited the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The delegation was welcomed by the Forum’s Chairman, Engineer Nazmi Atmeh, his Deputy Mr. Saleh Marqa, and a team from the forum. During the meeting, the main achievements of the training program previously implemented by the forum in collaboration with the College of Dual Studies were presented, which provided training opportunities for a group of the college’s students in companies affiliated with the forum. Success stories and field experiences that contributed to developing students’ skills and connecting them practically with the labor market were also discussed.
The meeting emphasized the importance of continuing such qualitative initiatives that combine academic education with practical training in private sector institutions, contributing to preparing professional graduates capable of competing in both the local and regional markets.”
في إطار تعزيز حضور جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين الإقليمي وتسليط الضوء على تجربة كلية الدراسات الثنائية كنموذج ريادي في التعليم المرتبط بسوق العمل، وبدعم من مؤسسة التعاون الألماني من خلال برنامج المزيد من فرص العمل، قام وفد من الجامعة برئاسة نائب رئيس الجامعة للتخطيط والتطوير المهندس أيمن سلطان، وعميد كلية الدراسات الثنائية الدكتور موسى ارفاعية وطاقم اداري من الجامعة وممثلن من المؤسسات الشريكة لكلية الدراسات الثنائية بزيارة إلى مقر ملتقى رجال الأعمال الفلسطيني الأردني في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان.
وكان في استقبال الوفد رئيس مجلس إدارة الملتقى المهندس نظمي عتمة ونائبه السيد صالح مرقة وطاقم من الملتقى، وخلال اللقاء، جرى عرض أبرز إنجازات البرنامج التدريبي الذي نفذه الملتقى سابقاً بالتعاون مع كلية الدراسات الثنائية، والذي أتاح تدريب مجموعة من طالبات الكلية في شركات أعضاء الملتقى، إضافةً إلى مناقشة قصص النجاح والتجارب الميدانية التي أثمرت عن تطوير مهارات الطلبة وربطهم العملي بسوق العمل.
كما تم التأكيد على أهمية استمرار هذه المبادرات النوعية التي تجمع بين التعليم الأكاديمي والتطبيق العملي في مؤسسات القطاع الخاص، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر مهنية قادرة على المنافسة في السوقين المحلي والإقليمي
