Dean of the College of Dual Studies, Dr. Mousa Al-Rifaiya, Participates in ICIPS 2025 and Chairs Its Organizing Committee
The Dean of the College of Dual Studies, Dr. Mousa Al-Rifaiya, participated in the International Conference on Computing and Problem Solving (ICIPS 2025), which was held in Luxor, Arab Republic of Egypt, from December 12 to 14, in parallel with the Arab and African Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC), with the participation of a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and specialists in the fields of computing and programming from various countries.
Dr. Al-Rifaiya served as Chair of the Conference Organizing Committee and also presented a peer-reviewed scientific paper as part of the conference’s scientific program entitled:
Problem Solving Training Impact on Employment Ratio for IT Students in Palestine: PCPC Case Study (2012–2025).
The first version of the paper is scheduled to be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series by the international publisher Springer, which is indexed in Scopus.
ICIPS 2025 aims to strengthen the link between academic research and practical application, particularly in the areas of computing education and programming contest training, in addition to fostering innovation among students and researchers, through its organization in parallel with the regional ACPC contest.
Dr. Mousa Al-Rifaiya also headed the Palestinian delegation participating in the Arab and African Programming Championship, reflecting the active Palestinian academic presence in international scientific forums and the pioneering role played by Palestinian academic institutions in supporting academic excellence and empowering students at both the regional and international levels.
عميد كلية الدراسات الثنائية، الدكتور موسى الرفاعية، يشارك في المؤتمر الدولي ICIPS 2025 ويترأس لجنته التنظيمية
شارك عميد كلية الدراسات الثنائية، الدكتور موسى الرفاعية، في المؤتمر الدولي للحوسبة وحل المشكلات (ICIPS 2025)، والذي عُقد في مدينة الأقصر – جمهورية مصر العربية خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 14 ديسمبر، بالتوازي مع مسابقة البرمجة الإقليمية (ACPC)، وبمشاركة نخبة من الأكاديميين والباحثين والمتخصصين في مجالات الحوسبة والبرمجة من مختلف الدول.
وشغل الدكتور الرفاعية منصب رئيس اللجنة التنظيمية للمؤتمر، كما قدّم بحثاً علمياً محكّماً ضمن البرنامج العلمي للمؤتمر، بعنوان: Problem Solving Training Impact on Employment Ratio for IT Students in Palestine: PCPC Case Study (2012–2025)، ومن المقرر أن يتم نشر النسخة الأولى من البحث ضمن سلسلة Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) التابعة لدار النشر العالمية Springer، والمفهرسة في قواعد بيانات Scopus.
ويهدف مؤتمر ICIPS 2025 إلى تعزيز الربط بين البحث الأكاديمي والتطبيق العملي، لا سيما في مجالات تعليم الحوسبة وتدريب مسابقات البرمجة، إضافة إلى دعم الابتكار لدى الطلبة والباحثين، وذلك من خلال عقده بالتوازي مع مسابقة ACPC الإقليمية.
كما ترأس الدكتور موسى الرفاعية الوفد الفلسطيني المشارك في البطولة العربية الأفريقية للبرمجة، في خطوة تعكس الحضور الأكاديمي الفلسطيني الفاعل في المحافل العلمية الدولية، والدور الريادي الذي تؤديه المؤسسات الأكاديمية الفلسطينية في دعم التميز العلمي وتمكين الطلبة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
