Within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between academic institutions and the private sector, and with the support and funding of the German Cooperation Organization through the “More Job Opportunities” program, Palestine Polytechnic University, in collaboration with the Amman Chamber of Commerce, held an interactive workshop at the Chamber’s headquarters in the Jordanian capital. The workshop aimed to strengthen the partnership between the university and the chamber, in addition to fostering the relationship between the College of Dual Studies and Jordanian private sector companies that are members of the chamber’s general assembly.
The workshop took place during the visit of the University’s Vice President for Planning and Development, Engineer Ayman Sultan, and the Dean of the College of Dual Studies, Dr. Mousa Arfaia, with the participation of Ms. Ayat Abdeen and Ms. Ghadeer Shaheen from the college staff, as well as Mr. Nour Al-Din Al-Qawasmi, HR Director at Hebron Municipality, and Mr. Hazem Jarrar, Deputy HR at the Palestinian Islamic Bank.
The delegation was received by the Chamber’s Secretary-General, Mr. Mohammad Tahboub, and the Chamber’s Director-General, Mr. Ghaleb Hijazi, alongside the administrative staff of the chamber.
During the workshop, discussions focused on ways to develop cooperation between the two parties to enhance the dual education model, which combines academic study with practical training in private sector institutions, emphasizing the importance of aligning educational outcomes with the local and regional labor market.
The workshop concluded with a tour of the chamber’s departments and a visit to its affiliated academy to learn about the services provided and to deepen the delegation’s understanding of the chamber’s mechanisms and its role in supporting the private sector and vocational education.
في إطار تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية والقطاع الخاص، وبدعم وتمويل من مؤسسة التعاون الالماني من خلال برنامج المزيد من فرص العمل، عقدت جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين بالتعاون مع غرفة تجارة عمّان ورشة عمل تفاعلية في مقر غرفة تجارة عمان في العاصمة الأردنية، حيث هدفت الورشة إلى تعزيز أواصر الشراكة بين الجامعة والغرفة، إضافةً إلى تمكين العلاقة بين كلية الدراسات الثنائية في الجامعة وشركات القطاع الخاص الأردنية من أعضاء الهيئة العامة في الغرفة.
جاءت الورشة ضمن زيارة نائب رئيس الجامعة للتخطيط والتطوير المهندس أيمن سلطان وعميد كلية الدراسات الثنائية الدكتور موسى ارفاعية، بمشاركة الأستاذة آيات عابدين والأستاذة غدير شاهين، من طاقم الكلية إضافةً إلى السيد نور الدين القواسمي مدير الموارد البشرية في بلدية الخليل والسيد حازم جرار نائب الموارد البشرية في البنك الإسلامي الفلسطيني.
وقد كان في استقبال الوفد أمين سر الغرفة السيد محمد طهبوب والمدير العام للغرفة السيد غالب حجازي إلى جانب طاقم الغرفة الإداري.
وتم خلال الورشة مناقشة سبل تطوير التعاون بين الجانبين بما يسهم في تعزيز نموذج التعليم الثنائي الذي يجمع بين الدراسة الأكاديمية والتدريب العملي في مؤسسات القطاع الخاص، مؤكدين أهمية تكامل الجهود لربط مخرجات التعليم بسوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي.
وتم ختام الورشة بجولة إلى أقسام الغرفة وزيارة الأكاديمية التابعة لها، للتعرف على الخدمات التي تقدمها وتعزيز فهم الوفد لآليات عمل الغرفة ودورها في دعم القطاع الخاص والتعليم المهني
