Dual Studies Students Expo Embodies the Impact of Partnership Between the College and the Private Sector
In an effort to enhance applied education and link academic courses with labor market requirements, the College of Dual Studies at Palestine Polytechnic University organized the Dual Studies Expo as one of the practical activities of the Sales Management course, under the supervision of Dr. Diana Hassouna, with active participation from the course students.
The Expo provided a hands-on platform for showcasing students’ ideas and projects. Their role was not limited to presenting theoretical concepts; rather, they collaborated with the private sector and the companies where they are trained within the Dual Studies Program to market real products. This experience simulated a real work environment and reflected the strength of the partnership between the university and the private sector.
The event was attended by the President of Palestine Polytechnic University, Dr. Mustafa Abu Safa, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Mousa Al-Rifaiya, reaffirming the university leadership’s support for applied activities and the strengthening of partnerships with the private sector.
The Expo contributed to empowering students to practically apply sales management and marketing concepts through product promotion, audience engagement, and sales operations management, in line with the philosophy of dual studies, which is based on integrating academic education with practical training.
إكسبو طلبة الدراسات الثنائية يجسّد أثر الشراكة بين الكلية والقطاع الخاص
حرصًا على تعزيز التعليم التطبيقي وربط المساقات الأكاديمية بمتطلبات سوق العمل، نظّمت كلية الدراسات الثنائية في جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين إكسبو الدراسات الثنائية كأحد الأنشطة العملية لمساق إدارة المبيعات، وذلك تحت إشراف د. ديانا حسونة، وبمشاركة فاعلة من طلبة المساق.
وشكّل الإكسبو مساحة تطبيقية لعرض أفكار الطلبة ومشاريعهم، حيث لم يقتصر دورهم على تقديم أفكار نظرية، بل استعانوا بالقطاع الخاص وبالشركات التي يتدربون فيها ضمن برنامج الدراسات الثنائية لتسويق منتجات حقيقية، في تجربة تحاكي بيئة العمل الواقعية وتعكس متانة الشراكة بين الجامعة والقطاع الخاص.
وجاءت هذه الفعالية بحضور رئيس جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين د. مصطفى أبو صفا وعميد الكلية د. موسى الرفاعية، في تأكيد على دعم قيادة الجامعة للأنشطة التطبيقية وتعزيز الشراكة مع القطاع الخاص.
وأسهم الإكسبو في تمكين الطلبة من تطبيق مفاهيم إدارة المبيعات والتسويق عمليًا، من خلال الترويج للمنتجات، والتواصل مع الجمهور، وإدارة عمليات البيع، بما ينسجم مع فلسفة الدراسات الثنائية القائمة على الدمج بين التعليم الأكاديمي والتدريب العملي.
