Supervisor of Financial Technology Program and the representative of the Dean of the College of Dual Studies, Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Rab, at Palestine Polytechnic University, along with the CEO of the Palestinian Loan and Development Company, Faten Al-Sayed Anwar Al-Jeousi, signed a memorandum of understanding. The collaboration aims to provide opportunities for students in the dual studies program at Polytechnic University to learn through training and gain real-world work experience during their studies. This will take place at various branches of Faten Company located in all cities of the West Bank and Gaza. The agreement seeks to create a practical partnership to serve students and enhance their learning experience by immersing them in real work situations. This collaboration will effectively contribute to honing the students’ skills and preparing them for the next phase, facilitating their entry into the job market with practical experience. The agreement was signed at the company’s headquarters, and Al-Jeousi emphasized the importance of integrating students into the job market, stating that Palestinian students are an asset to the nation and must be invested in. He highlighted the challenges that require high skills for individuals to prove themselves and commended Polytechnic University for offering this educational program, which will make a significant difference in the Palestinian education system. He assured that Faten Company’s doors are open to any student, and they will receive full support from the company’s employees. Abu Al-Rab praised Faten Company’s role in community development and emphasized the significant benefit that will reflect on students’ skills through this training. The dual studies program at Palestine Polytechnic University offers two Bachelor’s degree programs, Renewable Energy Engineering, and Financial Technology. The program provides students with the opportunity to study theory and receive practical training simultaneously, aiming to enhance employment opportunities for young people. This agreement is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to invest in the capabilities of Palestinian youth and contribute to supporting and developing the Palestinian education sector.
